Perfection asked:
What p2p programs are available for xubuntu?
just a thought, would it be safer/less likely to get a virus than you would running it on a windows OS?
thanks

06.19.08How do I enter my passkey to connect to an internet connection on a Linux Ubuntu?
Anonymous asked:
You see, the network to access the internet here at home requires a password to connect to it, should you be using a Mac or a Windows based OS. However, my Linux just connects to the network without asking for a password. But I can’t access the internet since I didn’t enter the password. And I have no idea how to enter it. Any help?

Which member of the Ubuntu Linux family would be best for me?
Ivallinen Roisto asked:
I’m an average user who is interested in switching to a Linux distro from Windows XP at some point in the near future. I’ve used Windows OS’s pretty exclusively since about 1993, and I’ve heard that all of the Ubuntu distros are very good for Linux noobs. I am concerned about system resource usage, but I also want something that looks and feels similar to what I’m accustomed to. Is there a significant difference between the look and feel of Xubuntu, Kubuntu, and Ubuntu? I’ve already ruled out Edubuntu since I don’t need a lot of those software packages.

Why would you use Ubuntu or another form or Linux?
Lost_megafan!! asked:
I mean to make things simle you need a Windows OS on the system already to run the installation wizard right? So why would you really go to the effort of running another OS?
