graphics card requires windows vista?

i just got the EVGA 9800 GT graphics card for my computer, and it came with free Crysis. On the side of the box it has the requirements and one is Windows Vista. I will have windows vista on my computer but i was hoping to be able to use the new version of ubuntu that is coming out soon, 8.10 intrepid ibex, will i be able to use ubuntu or not if i am using dualboot?

Upgrade an Old Comp?

Whats the best version of linux to use with my Hi-Grade VA250D Notebook?

I have had trouble installing my sound card on ubuntu (such as my microphone headpohones)
And my graphics card (wont enable 3d desktop and play openarena and stuff)
Plus my wireless card is a atheros ar50005g broadcom.
If you could do a step by step guide of how to install the graphics card, wireless card, and sound card. and theres a 100% it will work then ill go for it.

Also working with bluetooth would be great but ubuntu worked fine i just had to plug it in and did not need to install drivers.

Is it sufficient to run Beryl (ubuntu) with only a 2.2Ghz and 128mb of nvidia graphics card?
