My image file cd burner PowerISO stuck when it’s burning?

It stuck when it says 100% on the burning window but it says 99% on the main program window, i’ve tried a lot of times but it’s stuck for hours when it’s right there where it says it’s synchronizing cache. Help please I need to burn my cd of Kubuntu to install Linux, or anyone know another software to burn a image file cd instead of this, i’m not good at computer i don’t know what image files are i just read guide on internet so can you tell me if i can boot that cd to install Linux? Thanks
