Boot from CD on compaq armada V300?

Hi, I would like to install linux on a compaq armada v300. In the bios options, it doesn’t have the boot from cd option. What should I do? I’m trying to install xubuntu, latest version. I did a cd with the alternate edition, but, as I said, it won’t boot.
