Is there a way to access wubi linux files via the windows partition?

I have installed linux with wubi and it worked for a while. But for some reason the computer doesnt boot into linux anymore. I have decided not to use wubi anymore but i would like to retrieve the files that i had saved on linux. is there anyway to access them from windows or somehow reinstall kubuntu and then get access to th files?

    You will have to create a new partition to reinstall kubuntu. A live cd would allow you to access that area. For Linux, you need grub or lilo.
